Best Grossing Musical of All Time At Aloha Theatre

When I asked my friends if they would like to see Mamma Mia! at the Aloha Theatre, they, unlike my husband, were enthusiastic. One of my friends' roommate is in the production, so they thought we could get free tickets. I don't know why they believed that idea but I was oppossed to the idea of waiting for free tickets. Why? You can get a ticket to the show at the Aloha Theatre for $10. (They surely do not charge enough.) Even near-the-stage seats are only $28 each.

So, I did the responsible thing, went online and bought the darn tickets. The best I could get was the 4th row center, but that's still excellent seats.  I knew better than to listen to them. Those particular friends rarely buy tickets for anything.

Unlike me who is often obsessed with the process. Because with just a little planning and ingenuity, you can buy front row seats for the same price as middle of the theatre, why not get good seats? Being close to the stage makes performances so much more personal and enjoyable.

Further, while this is not Broadway in New York nor Masonic on Nob Hill or even Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, same principles apply to obtaining good seats: book early, be decisive and have the seating chart pulled up on your screen.

The show SOLD OUT so fast. And it was completely amazing. You can read more about it in my personal blog today at this link: Mamma Mia! at the Aloha Theatre.
