Hiking in Sonoma Takes Us to the Bald Mountain Summit

My husband and I have a very equitable relationship in that we employ tradeoffs. Things the other person seems better at doing, we leave those things up to the person best equipped to deal with them. That is why I work with contractors for our home improvement projects and he does the grocery shopping. We both share the litterbox scooping, in case that thought crossed your minds.

Often, I choose the hotels and restaurants when we travel, and my husband selects our itinerary. Which is how we ended up on a 6-mile-plus hike yesterday, headed straight up to a 2729 elevation at the summit of Bald Mountain. Right after checking home to make sure our house sitters are doing OK. Pica is getting a lot of extra attention from them, which makes me feel OK about leaving Sacramento and going to Sonoma for Thanksgiving.

You can see photos and the story of that hike in my personal blog today at Hike to the Summit of Bald Mountain at Sugarloaf Ridge.

Ever since we switched to the Breeze litter box system, dealing with our cat's boxes has been, well, pretty much a breeze. All of the cat litter tracking we had to clean up every single day has stopped. There is no lingering odor and obsessive… more

Why Some Homes in Sacramento May Sell Better in Winter

I tromped in my winter boots through the back yard strewn with leaves and over the heaving sidewalk cracks to inspect a home. This is a very chilly time of year to walk around a property, but as licensed agents, a Sacramento REALTOR is required to… more

How Early Jobs Prepared Me to Be a Sacramento REALTOR
