Finding a Top Sacramento Realtor for a Referral

All of a sudden, I've started to receive a bunch of referrals for a Sacramento Realtor. A few referrals come from other real estate agents I have met through the AR website, but most are actually from a company based in San Francisco.

This company searches for the top producers in Sacramento and refers visitors who respond from its website. Somehow they know the huge number of homes I sell every year and that's how they target me.

Some agents object to this practice because they believe these types of companies are selling our own leads back to us, but that is an illusion from a compromised brain.

They were never our leads to start with if they didn't call us.

This is business that might not have graced our doorsteps if not for the referrals . . . which is why I have no objection to it and, in fact, downright love it. You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: Do You Need a Referral to a Sacramento Realtor?

Calistoga for the Weekend

When There is a Death in the Family

I'm sure we real estate agents in Sacramento and elsewhere around the country could fill up a book with stories about what happens among our clients when there is a death in the family. The in-fighting and backstabbing can be surreal. The one place,… more

Have You Seen a Sacramento Possum Lately?

I don't know about you, but I think possums are kinda creepy looking. Those fangy teeth, wicked beady eyes, Cruella fingernails and skinny prehensile tail, not to mention the disposition to fake dropping over dead. Something we all wish Donald Trump… more
