Elizabeth Weintraub • Sacramento Real Estate Agent

Photos From Our San Jose Weekend Getaway

It seems like unless I am headed for Hawaii, I rarely find time for brief vacations anymore, even for a weekend. But last weekend, my brother-in-law from Chicago flew into the Bay Area. Well, actually, his company contacts were in Sunnyvale. There didn't seem to be as much to do in Sunnyvale than in San Jose, so San Jose it was.

Now, one of the first homes I sold in Sacramento way-back-when was to buyers from San Jose. Those former clients used to drive roundtrip to San Jose every other weekend to visit their parents, and for them, it was a 3-hour trip. We shot right down I-5 in 2 1/2 hours and a bit under that coming home on Sunday. Good traffic. Hit the road just in time for me to relay all of the open house reports to my sellers as we drove along.

Giving Advice to a Buyer Working With Another Agent
With listing agents, it is very clear which agent is the listing agent. With buyer's agents, it's not always so clear. A potential home buyer who handed out a one-star "review" was insulted that I would not continue a conversation with… more

Del Dayo Home Pending Despite Agents With Reading Disabilities
Sometimes, buyer feedback can drive a Sacramento listing agent crazy. Over and over buyer's agents sent feedback saying either home was too big or it had too many levels. Because, this particular home, guess what? Exceeds 5, 000 square feet, which… more
Where is the Office of Your Sacramento Realtor?

Do You Sell Real Estate Outside of Your Area?
One of the reasons I love working with out-of-area agents is because I know how to make the process easy for them, and they aren't much trouble. Other agents in Sacramento have told me they do not like that interaction one little bit. We get a lot… more
People Who Make an Appointment and Fail to Show
