I received a notice from the Land Park Community Association this morning advising residents to be on the alert and report suspicious activity to the Sacramento Police department.
One of my own clients had a break in last month. The thieves broke a window on the back of the home and carted off electronics and jewelry. At first I thought she said, "They stole our weed," and I was thinking that maybe she shouldn't be confiding that sort of thing to her real estate agent. I mean, it's none of my business.
Then I realized she had said "Wii."
Here are a list of addresses and synopsis provided by the Sacrament Police department:

1000 block of Woodshire Way, 1/25/09, between 0900 to 2130 hrs
1200 block of 41st Ave, 1/26/09, at 2048 hrs
1400 block of Kitchner Rd, 1/27/09, between 1350 to 1500 hrs
1200 block of 42nd Ave, 1/27/09, between 1310 to 1730 hrs
900 block of Woodshire Way, 1/27/09, between 0800-1500 hrs
5900 block of Lake Crest Way, 1/27/09, between 0800-2000 hrs
6400 block of 13th St, 1/27/09, between 2200 to 1230 hrs
1100 block of Glen Holly Way, 1/23/09, 1900 hrs
"The suspect(s) entered the residences primarily by force to the side garage door, breaking out sliding doors, or via unlocked doors. The suspects have taken TVs, electronics, laptops, jewelry, video games, and cash.
Please forward any information to Detective McMillan at NCU South, 808-5220."
