Sometimes You Gotta Take a Break From Real Estate, If Only for 10 Minutes

elizabeth weintraub 1982So, this is a photo of me from Yearbook Yourself  -- if I had been in high school in 1982. (I wasn't because I belong to the Class of 1970.)

OK, this Yearbook Yourself is a totally silly site that seems to want nothing from you but to amuse, and there is nothing wrong with that. Erin Attardi turned me on to this site. She found it while on hold and waiting for a short sale negotiator to return to the phone -- and we all know how long that can take! So, she had a good excuse. Me? I have no excuse. I don't sit on hold with negotiators. My associate does that for me. See, I don't need no stinkin' excuse to screw off because I do it on purpose.

I don't apologize for taking a break because it clears out the brain. Some people take up jogging, others clean out the refrigerator or wash the cat for excitement.

There are times, however, when I need to stop thinking about Sacramento real estate just so I can get back to concentrating on real estate. What do you do to unwind?
