This Sacramento Short Sale Agent Did Not Really Say This, Did She?

sacramento short sale agent in tubHere's something new that I haven't done before. A few days ago, I received an early morning call. I answered it, even though I was busy getting dressed. Hey, sometimes I talk on my phone while I am in the tub, what can I say? Multi-tasking can be necessary at times. But it can also get you into trouble.

I reached into the medicine cabinet and took out my contact lens case. For those of you who don't wear them, you have to soak contact lenses in a solution overnight before you put them back into your eyes. Continued to talk on my phone. I was discussing a HUD with a coworker. As a Sacramento short sale agent, I can get pretty heated up over a HUD. I'm passionate about those numbers on the HUD -- a somewhat nerdy quality that is probably a kickback to my former escrow officer days in the 1970s.

Anyway, after I hung up the phone, I turned to the task of putting my contact lenses into my eyes. Except they were no where to be found. I looked in all of the usual suspect places: in the refrigerator, under the bathroom sink, in the trash cans, inside my make-up drawer, and on top of every counter, nook and cranny in the house. They have vanished. I'm pretty sure I didn't eat them because I don't eat and talk at the same time. Well, hardly ever. Depends on whom is on the phone.

I would accuse the cats except for the last time. The last time I thought a cat had swiped something, I was totally wrong. I had lost a diaphragm. Yes, I had two. You know me, I always have a Plan B. I couldn't be the excellent Sacramento short sale agent that I am without a Plan B. I kept picking up and throwing my lone diaphragm on the floor in front of my cat and demanding, "Does this look familiar to you??" I guess I had hoped the cat would pick it up and take it to where he had hidden the other one. But no, he just cocked his head and looked at me quizzically, like, "Are you insane?" I'm not even going to tell you where it was eventually discovered. I'll leave that one to your imagination. But I am fairly confident that is NOT where my contact lens case is hiding.

Finally, I simply opened a new contact lens package. I gave them up for being lost. And now I will point to you agents who say you can't think of anything to write in a blog. You can actually write about anything you want.
