Images are powerful. Some say they are more powerful than words. I suspect that's because you can twist around words in your head or forget words, but it's really hard to forget an image. I keep seeing that image embedded in my brain of the Emperor Penguin in New Zealand, standing on a sandy beach all by itself looking lost. It was lost. Took a wrong turn out in the ocean somewhere and should have been in Antarctica, not stranded on a beach in New Zealand.
Authorities said they were going to let nature take its course. Even though the poor little creature was eating sand because it didn't have any snow. What is wrong with people? Nature take its course. What? What I imagined was some wealthy Samaritan would volunteer to fly the penguin home. So, I was very relieved to read that they had finally taken the penguin to the zoo.
I am hoping my images of this 1928 Bungalow in the Med Center of Sacramento will motivate a first-time home buyer to want to tour this home. When I shot my first series of photos of the front, I captured the lamp post in the yard. It wasn't until I looked at them on my computer that I realized the lamp post was just a black line in the center of my photo. The big cedar tree is much prettier.
I feel the exterior photo of a home is the most important picture. That's because if a buyer doesn't like the exterior, there is no way a buyer will look at any other pictures. It's too easy to click on the next listing. I don't want to give the buyer that opportunity.
This home is only available because the seller transferred. It's a Wachovia short sale. My favorite favorite kind of short sale in the entire world. Wachovia got its act together early on, way before any other short sale bank figured out it makes more money if it would streamline the short sale process.
