It is often a bit peculiar for a seller to receive an offer that is less than asking price within the first 24 hours on the market; yet, for some reason, buyers think it's a good idea. Leaves a person wondering why they have that idea. Is it because they do not want to buy a home? Is their agent misguiding them?
There are agents who don't argue with their buyers because they want them to be friends. To trust them. So, their thinking is let the buyer make her own mistakes enough times and she'll figure it out. Problem with that approach is the buyer loses her first and maybe second choice of a home.
