Who Really Remembers All of Their Ex'es?

When I say the bank removed all of my banking accounts from online access, what they they really did was redirect my sign-on results to a 404 page. It looked like a customer had signed on, bank logo and identifying properties there, but no bank accounts. Could have been hacked for all I know. It's one of those instances where a person automatically suspects the bank somehow messed up, though, especially when the bank has had other very recent apologetic episodes.

But what ensued from that experience was fairly bizarre. There was a point I raised my voice, asking incredulously: "You know how idiotic and ridiculous this all seems, right? I am still in control of all my reasoning powers, right?"

Company policy, Ma'am.

And then the difficult questions ensued. Security questions. Interrogation was more like it.

"Ma'am, do you know a Tamara Nelson?"

Uh, oh, trick question. Think, think, think. I was once married to a guy named Nelson. And he had two nieces, twins, and their names started with a T, same name basically but different spelling . . .

Ummm...... no, my answer is no.

Whew. That was a tough one. But I got the next one wrong. You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: A Glimpse into the Life of a Married Real Estate Agent.

Ready for Hawaii Big Island Bird Photos?
This is one of those blogs that can go on forever, and it sort of does. So many photos to choose from to feature in my blog, and they have to be pretty good before I'll select them. At least you need to be able to see what kind of bird it is, don't… more
The Lizards and Geckos From the Island of Hawai'i
Obviously, I cannot shoot a photo of every single type of lizards and geckos in Hawaii. But there are common types you will see almost everywhere. Ordinarily, you do not see them at a resort. I stayed at and visited almost all of the resorts north… more
Sunset Photographs from Hawai'i Island
We have certainly no shortage of photographic opportunities on Hawai'i Island. You never know what you might see when you are alert and holding a camera. In future blogs, you will see more photos. I'm trying to group them into categories, as I see… more

Finally, a Decent Up-Close Gold Dust Day Gecko Photo
While an iPhone will work in a pinch to snap photos of flowers, people and other stationary things, wildlife is a whole 'nother story. I mean, I can sit on my lanai for hours and watch the geckos but try taking a picture of one. They won't wait for… more
Shooting For 3-Cat Household in Land Park Once Again
I had this feeling yesterday that if I had insisted on bringing home two kittens instead of just one, my husband was at a weak point in his conviction. He insists that our maximum cat numbers cannot exceed three. They were THAT cute. But when we… more
Buying a Paddle Board is a Personal Experience
When you buy a new car, most people would test drive the vehicle prior to purchase, right? So, I think it only makes sense to try out a new paddle board before buying. All paddle boards are not the same. When you don't really know anything about a… more
Which Do You Prefer: Charcoal or Gas Grill?
It seems that everything we have at our house in Hawaii is so much nicer than the stuff at our house in Sacramento. But that's probably because it's newer. My husband keeps telling me that I live in Hawaii now, but I really don't. Just part of the… more
What Kind of Sound Do You Hear When Your Cat Purrs?
Do you realize how incredibly diverse cat purrs are? The more cats you bond with in your life, the more you realize how different they sound. With some cats, you might feel the vibration but not actually hear the purr itself. Other cats are so… more
