The thing I really enjoy about receiving Trendgraphix reports from Lyon Real Estate is the fact our reports substantiate and explain what we're seeing as agents out in the field. It's only by being extemely active in Sacramento real estate that an agent really has her finger on the pulse of what's going on. It's not the same thing to hear about activity from others in an office, where an awful lot of agents seem to hang out.
A Sacramento Realtor has got to be holding open houses, talking to buyers and sellers, receiving purchase offers and closing transactions to get a good feel for the market. That is why an agent who sells several homes a week will have a different take on the market than the bulk who sell only 3 or 4 homes a year.
Further, I noticed something very odd about the stats for February in Sacramento County. Something I have not noticed in previous years at this time. Without getting into numbers here, let's just say inventory is getting tighter and buyers more frenzied.
