Some people go only to Napa or Sonoma, but Sacramento's close distance to Northern California Wine Country gives us plenty of other vineyards to visit. If you go only for the gondola ride and view, like going to Tomorrow Land at Disneyland, you won't be disappointed. Plus, you get to keep the wine glass as a souvenir. We thought about it, under the concept of hey, it's free; but then we said no and left our glasses behind. It's not like we don't have enough wine glasses at home to host a small army. Would we ever drink again from a pair of glasses that read Sterling Vineyards? Probably not.
