As I headed out the door yesterday to list a home in Galt, I had the pleasure of talking with a Sacramento Realtor who, like me, has been in the business for more than 40 years. I think she mixed me up with somebody else because the first question she asked was how is my mother. Dead, was my answer. Ha, ha, that always renders them speechless.
Then she went on to ask about a particular listing and whether the home had a garbage disposal. What? Who uses garbage disposals anymore? That statement caused me to launch into my own personal rampage against kitchen garbage disposals. Well, she uses a garbage disposal, so it was an important feature to her. We talked all the way to Galt right up to the point where I got lost and had to speak with Siri instead.
