It's like the word is out that all the crazy people in Los Angeles should head to Hollywood Boulevard. Probably because they will blend right in and not stand out. There are so many of them. Throw in the tourists, the porn lingerie shops, the guys who start walking in the crosswalk but then suddenly stop, head sideways cocked, to look at the sun or a bird crapping on their head from overhead, hard to say, but these oblivious attitudes holds up traffic.
Not that it matters. The drivers aren't much better. After they almost kill you by zipping through red lights while speeding, they are polite enough to wave a hand in the air as though it makes their actions OK. Or, maybe they're just saying: well, aren't you glad I didn't hit you this time? There is always a next time, though, Ciao!
