There was so much hype around the musical Hamilton, at least in my reading material, that I could not escape it. I tried not to read much about the show because I did not want anything to alter my experience. Being at the theatre is magical all by itself. Magic happens up there on stage and it transforms a person.
I was not in the least disappointed. In fact, I didn't even care my seats were not front and center, we were about midway on the floor. The energy was somewhat overwhelming and the show definitely exceeded expectations.
