These sellers were referred to me because they were specifically looking for a top producer agent in Sacramento. When I met with them, I could sense there was something eating at them, so I asked what it was. They are such a charming couple. The husband hemmed and hawed and said he felt uneasy, didn't know how to say what he wanted to express. I assured him nothing he could say would be offensive and to just say it like he thought it.
Then he asked if I would be willing to list his home because it was only $250,000. It wasn't a million-dollar home. My jaw fell open, and I quickly snapped it shut. Sure, I sell all sorts of properties in Sacramento, hundreds and hundreds, more than most agents, but I never ever in a bazillion years use price as criteria. I will sell a $30,000 condo or a $3 million mansion. Makes absolutely zero difference to me.
