I am having a really hard time getting over the fact that an alligator is not green. You may as well have told me there is no such thing as Santa Claus. Even though I have been to Florida a number of times in my life, I have never before been presented with this information, and it's a little unsettling. It's like finding out there is no tooth fairy and your mom has been swiping your teeth and sticking a quarter under your pillow. Except today's spoiled rotten kids probably get an iPad.
