A Visit to the Dolphin Research Center in the Florida Keys

There is another tourist spot outside of Islamorada, north near Key Largo, that my husband thought I wanted to see, but it appeared to be way over-the-top touristry. Instead, I opted to go south to Grassy Key, where Mryl Jeffcoat visited when she toured the Florida Keys, and see the Dolphin Research Center. This is where Flipper used to live and Flipper's descendants still live. Plus, they have two new baby bottlenose dolphins.

Read more in my personal blog today and see the photos of Flipper's Grandkids at the Dolphin Research Center.
