Always a Good Time to Go Snorkeling in Hawaii

For the first time in a long time, I left the house yesterday without my cellphone, keys or bag. Our houseguests, Josh and Vika, suggested a snorkeling trip south of Kona. Since they were driving, I figured I didn't need anything. To leave the house without important items to keep an eye on is a bit strange for me. Exhilerating, though.

During our snorkeling adventure, I once again happened upon a remarkable event. A giant manta ray! With a back that looked like if I petted it, the skin would feel like velvet. I swam with that ray for a long distance, almost swimming over it until it began to rise to the surface. Probably to escape this crazy woman.
