How Sacramento REALTORs Can Relate to Molokai's Wot Wot

The general manager of the Molokai Hotel assured me last night that the restaurant, which is presently under re-construction, will be ready in 8 weeks, or at least by Christmas, and he guarantees it. Emphatically. Which will most likely make a huge difference in the experience at this hotel; I can see lunches around the pool and evening dinners at oceanside. At the moment, there really are no hotels on the island that offer an onsite restaurant service.

People generally stop by the bar for a drink on their way to dinner somewhere. Many of the other restaurants in the closest town, Kaunakakai, do not serve alcohol. But the travelers who come to Molokai do not seem to mind much. They're not here to be pampered and spoiled, and crowds are not their thing. Some are like me, a Sacramento REALTOR, seeking peaceful relaxation in a stress-free environment to recharge after a busy year.

I met a woman here who is 87 and lives 3 miles down the road. She was in sales and retired at 82. She told me that it's pretty evident that I know wot-wot. You can see photos and read more about Molokai in my personal blog today Do You Know Wot Wot?
