The reporter for this KCRA Sacramento property tax story promised to tell me when it would air, but he didn't. Maybe he figured that I watch NBC and would catch the promos, but I'm hard pressed to think of a show I like on that station. We probably watch more shows on HBO. So, I was a little surprised when I walked into my office meeting on Wednesday to find out that it had aired.
My husband says I should write to the reporter and request a tape, since the guy never called or emailed me. Fortunately, my office assistant, Andy, graciously offered to copy the show from his TiVo to a DVD for me. I've got to say that Lyon office assistants are the best, and I can always count on them to come through, even if it's not real estate related stuff. They go beyond their scope of duty, and it's another reason why I love my office.
The real star of the show, though, is not me. It's my client, Natalie. She's so calm, poised, articulate and has a great TV presence. I especially liked her closing statement.
I imagine many first-time home buyers in Sacramento were astonished to learn that they may be paying property taxes at a higher rate for the next 2 years.

I think you and your cilent both did a fantastic interview. It's a shame the buyers can't get the assessment changed with their appraisal from the purchase process. Two years is a long time to wait. Will there be refunds perhaps?
I have been informed there will be refunds; let's just hope that money is set aside and not spent. Home owners may need to request the refund, too.
Nice interview, Elizabeth. Now I feel as if I have seen you in person.
Elizabeth,
I checked so,me channels, was not sure where to look, and missed it. FUnny that you have missed it. too. And Barbara watched it.
Who said life is fair?
Thanks, Barbara. See, I'm just a normal person.

I knew it was just a matter of time before you hit the big screen. Your performance shines, and you are the best in Sacramento for Real Estate
I thought that was a great interview. You speak highly of your client, but you are both quite poised and eloquent.
