CURTIS PARK TUDOR, OFFERED AT $599,000
See the virtual tour
2617 Rochon Way, Sacramento, CA 95818
Built in 1928, this fabulous Tudor just keeps getting better. A second-floor expansion added dormers, more windows and vaulted ceilings. Fabulous master suite with remote office, skylights, ceiling fan and plenty of closet space upstairs. A second bedroom upstairs is almost as large with a sitting area and features an exposed brick chimney. Third bedroom is downstairs and overlooks the spectacular back yard.
The home has hardwood floors with inlaid walnut, a wood-burning fireplace, vintage light fixtures, French doors leading to formal dining room with 1928 chandelier, separate family room, updated kitchen with DCS oven and Miele dishwasher, plus the large eat-in space in the kitchen includes a built-in cabinet with leaded glass door.
The great layout allows circular navigation. Half basement with laundry, too. Located on a secluded and tree-canopied street of stately architecture: Tudors and Mediterraneans. No through traffic, either -- Heilbron Oaks is one of the best neighborhoods in Curtis Park. Newer roof, garage with workshop and fenced back yard. What else could you want?

Elizabeth, I think you have some of the nicest listings in your area. For a 1928 house this one is in great condition. I don't think we even have 1928 houses in our area. 1982 houses are old ones for us : )
Elizabeth
Nice home; is that suitable for a guy with a big dog?
Sincerely
Tom Braatz
Hi Gary: We have homes of great character in Curtis Park and Land Park. It's one of the most desirable features of our neighborhoods.
Hi Tom: Absolutely it's a great home for Lars. The sellers put up a large wrought iron gate from the house to the garage, so the back yard is totally fenced. Plus, there is a park (hence the name of Curtis Park) about four blocks away where neighbors walk their dogs!
What a lovely home! I love their colors, particularly the red dining room and cheery yellow kitchen. Gives me great ideas for my own home.
This is a lovely home, according to the photos. It would probably be about $110,000 in our market!
what a great house - I love it - when can I move in?
Hi Chris: The red dining room really pops, doesn't it -- and the yellow / black period tile in the kitchen is totally charming. Many buyers commented at the Open on Sunday how much they loved the kitchen.
Hi Barbara: Wow, $110,000 in Arkansas will buy a Tudor? How remarkable and what a difference in markets.
Hi Thesa: You can move in when escrow closes, LOL.
Elizabeth - This is a beautiful home! You did a great job with the photos. I hope it sells quickly for you! :)
Elizabeth....charming to say the least. Must be a wonderful community! Good luck on a quick sale!
Thanks, Debi. This was a delightful home to photograph.
Hi Jeanean: And someday you will have to come to Sacramento and see the homes in Curtis Park for yourself!
